People say I’m greedy cos I’m worth a billion pounds
But don’t they know the good it helps me do?
I spend a lot of money on my horses and my homes,
Kids’ schools – and tax accountants too.
By philanthropic stealth I’m making jobs, creating wealth,
And making the UK a better place.
By my generous behaviour you might see me as your saviour –
So what I say is GET OUT OF MY FACE!

This was inspired by January 2023 news items about Conservative cabinet minister and former Chancellor of the Exchequer Nadim Zahawi’s dodgy tax affairs. He was sacked a few days later.
